Dedicated Trucking Jobs
One the hard parts of being a truck driver, especially if you are married and/or have children, are being on the road for long periods of time. In addition to that a lot of the time you may not know for sure when you will make it home. It all depends on getting dispatched on runs that make it back to your town. One thing that seems to be coming more and more popular are trucking jobs dedicated to certain areas or routes. These are usually dedicated routes working with one particular customer that always goes from point A to Point B, say Los Angeles, California to Phoenix, Arizona several times a week or day. These dedicated trucking runs could then be giving to specific drivers thereby giving them more control of home time and quality of life. Of course these dedicated trucking jobs may be more sought after and given to the best and most reliable drivers.
