Local Trucking Jobs
If you are or want to be a truck driver but don't want to be gone all the time (i.e., you want to sleep in your own bed every night), then local trucking jobs are for you. Keep in mind however than local trucking jobs typically do not pay as well as over the road jobs. The types of trucks can vary significantly for local drivers and may or may not include sleepers. Also many of the jobs for local drivers may not be from the more "traditional trucking companies" (although they use local drivers as well), but from other places such as grocery stores and other distribution centers, moving companies, furniture companies, and such.
